Job Description

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine upkeep, preventive maintenance, and repair of the facility’s building systems. The goal of the role is to keep all properties in optimal working order, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for tenants, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections and carry out preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Handle minor repairs such as painting, lighting, and fixture upkeep.

Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and service calls.

Adhere to safety standards, building codes, and company policies in all maintenance work.

Coordinate with external vendors or contractors as needed.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, work orders, and completed repairs.

Support emergency maintenance tasks, including after-hours work as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.

At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities work, or a related trade.

Foundational knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
