Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Consultant with a strong background in Accounts Payables, Asset Management, and Project Costing. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in PeopleSoft Financials, particularly in the WIP/Fixed Assets process. This role will focus on understanding business requirements, finalizing design, producing an implementation plan, and documenting all deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and experience working with multiple ERP applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Use analytical skills and judgment to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex problems
2. Work closely with customers to understand and define enterprise goals and objectives
3. Contribute to sprint planning and estimation by highlighting dependencies, constraints, and business impact
4. Act as the SME for business and strategic needs while representing the team to the customer
5. Analyze business needs and solutions, devise strategies, and facilitate stakeholder collaboration
6. Validate and verify information to identify solution options that meet business needs
7. Align designed and delivered solutions with stakeholder needs
8. Establish and implement effective requirement creation and management practices
9. Lead requirements elicitation using techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis
10. Define the solution approach, identify business improvement opportunities, and develop design options
11. Define software quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other non-functional requirements
12. Monitor the market for technologies/processes to manage business analysis information
13. Develop training materials and tips to improve stakeholder efficiency in using business analysis tools
14. Work with large or multiple teams spanning functions, locations, and time zones to coordinate roles and responsibilities
15. Develop a network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) inside and outside of the organization
16. Innovate approaches for using new tools, templates, and processes
17. Develop engagement strategies to support organizational transformation
18. Assist in driving transformational programs for the organization or customers enterprise

Required Qualifications

1. 10+ years of experience in ERP, including PeopleSoft Financials
2. Expertise in Accounts Payables, Asset Management, and Project Costing modules
3. Strong understanding of the WIP/Fixed Assets process
4. Experience working with solutions requiring interfaces with third-party applications
5. Strong accounting background with experience in multiple ERP applications
6. Ability to analyze, structure, and solve complex business problems
7. Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and translate their needs into technical solutions
8. Experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and collaboration
10. Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in Agile project execution and sprint planning
2. Familiarity with financial systems integration and reporting tools
3. Knowledge of software quality assurance and non-functional requirement definitions
