Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our design and production team. This individual will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, renderings, and technical documentation used for fabrication and client approvals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for furniture designs and layouts.
• Prepare and revise shop drawings based on client feedback and design changes.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and production staff to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
• Review specifications, measurements, and materials to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with design visualization and presentation materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); experience with SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of furniture construction and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret design intent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in commercial or hospitality furniture design preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in drafting, design, or a related field.
