About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff to play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the work of the General Partner and the broader investment team. This high-trust, high-leverage, and high-autonomy position is focused on strategic operations, business ops leadership, and investment team enablement. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and refining the investment team’s operational framework, designing and implementing standard operating procedures, and partnering with the General Partner to execute the firm’s business ops roadmap. Additionally, the role involves leading special projects, driving systems innovation, and ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management both within the investment team and with external partners. The ideal candidate for the Chief of Staff position at the company is an operator with a strong background in consulting, finance, operations, or a similar analytical environment. They should be detail-oriented, possess excellent project management skills, and thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced settings. A systems thinker with a high operational IQ, the candidate should be adept at building and refining processes and have a keen interest in the mechanics of venture capital at an institutional level. While not an investor-track role, the position offers a unique opportunity to be deeply immersed in VC operations, fund management, and firm-building strategy. The role is suited for someone who is not an aspiring investor but is dedicated to driving meaningful impact behind the scenes and is prepared for an immersive, 18-24 month tenure with the potential for transition into another internal role or a new career opportunity.
