An Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for providing expert medical care to patients in a high-volume inpatient hospital setting, managing trauma level 3 cases across day and night shifts. The role requires at least two years of emergency department experience, active state medical licensure, board certification or eligibility, and certifications such as ATLS, ACLS, and PALS. Physicians use electronic medical records systems and handle a wide range of urgent medical conditions in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Dates Needed: Ongoing. Length of Assignment: Minimum 6 Months, Minimum # of Shifts Acceptable: 6.
- Preferred Schedule: Shift Details: 6a - 6p, 6p - 6a. (12Hrs. Per Shift) Day & Night Shift, Full Time (48 Shifts).
- Worksite Setting: Inpatient/Hospital, Trauma Level: 3.
- Scope of Work:
- Annual Volume : 10,000- 48000.
- Patients Per Day: 27-131.
- ED Beds & Fast Track Beds: 38.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active State License Required: Yes TX, Board Certification Required: Yes in EM Certified Or Board Eligible Or With 4,000 of EM Experience, ATLS, ACLS, PALS Completed Residency 2 Years of ED Experience.
