Job Description

Position Objective : To properly clean aircraft exterior spaces as well as preform an aircraft search for non-allowed items per airline requirements.

Pay Rate: $18.00/ HR

Shift: OVERNIGHT

General Qualifications:

• 18 and over
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Aircraft cleaning experience (preferred, but not required)
• Eligible to pass an FBI background check (for airport badge clearance purposes)

Exterior Aircraft Cleaner - Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain chemicals/equipment stocked and organized after every use
• Pre-check and collect all necessary materials, equipment and chemicals to preform aircraft waxes, washes, and inspections on airport premises
• Apply, document and verify that all necessary equipment has been properly prepared and installed per airline safety protocols
• Complete an FOD (Foreign Object Debris) walk of aircraft exterior to maintain work areas clean and free of debris as per airport safety regulations

Requirements:

• Must be physically capable to execute the duties of this labor position
• Must be able to lift, carry or hold 75 pounds or more
• Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand or bend frequently throughout the course of a shift
