Job Description
- Conceptualize and design furniture products for various projects based on client requirements.
- Prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings using CAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar software.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, fabrics, and hardware for furniture products.
- Collaborate with production teams, carpenters, and suppliers to ensure feasibility and quality of designs.
- Develop prototypes and mock-ups for client approval and testing.
- Ensure designs comply with ergonomic, safety, and sustainability standards .
- Keep up-to-date with latest trends, materials, and techniques in furniture design.
- Conduct cost estimation, material optimization, and production planning .
- Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Coordinate with interior designers and architects for integrated project solutions.
- Mentor junior designers and interns on design principles and software tools .
