Job Overview
Location: Metro Atlanta Primarily serving; Douglas, Fulton & Fayette Counties
Position Type: Full-Time | Hourly
Compensation: $21-$30/hr (Based on Experience and Licensing)
Your Role as an Lead Painter
The Emerald Leader is our on-site project champion—a combination of crew manager, quality inspector, and customer experience leader. You are responsible for overseeing all day-of-job production activities, ensuring excellence in workmanship, safety, and customer WOW satisfaction delivery.
Duties
- Manage projects on both residential and commercial sites
- Coordinate daily logistics including loading/unloading materials, setup stations, and clean-up staged properly
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and drywall repair as necessary
- Execute painting tasks alongside the team to maintain job timelines
- Ensure multi-point inspection and quality control is followed
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and commercial clients
- Collect feedback and assist with post-job reviews or payment
- Mentor junior crew members and support their skill development
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial and residential painting
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations and safety regulations
- Familiarity with cabinets, drywall installation and repair techniques
- Ability to read work site schematics and follow detailed instructions
- Great communicator with professional appearance and demeanor
- E-verifiable with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in Douglas, Fulton, and Fayette County job sites
- Self-starter
