Minimum Requirements:

1. Associates’ degree in Computer Science or Engineering or High School Diploma and 2 years equivalent work experience.
2. Ability to install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks and related hardware and software.
3. Self-initiative and motivation to work without requiring strict supervision.
4. Good oral and written communication skills.
5. Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical internal customers.
6. Ability to work independently and with a team.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Identify, diagnose and resolve pc/network problems
2. Respond to Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.
3. Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
4. Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, data networks, Windows workstations, file servers, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrades and configures modems, disk drives, CD ROM units, printers, and related equipment.
5. Troubleshoot systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
6. Creates and maintain comprehensive documentation for all installation/trouble -shooting procedures
7. Develop and conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems, relational databases, and other applications; assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems.
8. Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
9. Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
10. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
11. Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
12. Develop and maintain documentation for computer programs and network systems.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

1. This position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting computer equipment, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
2. Requires sitting, standing and walking for prolonged periods of time
3. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate forms and reports.

*Salary ranges from $26 - $34.94
