Job Title: Scale House/Loadout Operator (Night Shift)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Loadout Operator/Scale House Operator to join our team at Asgard Resources, a leading provider of frac sand, located in Northwestern North Dakota and Eastern Montana. We are a rapidly expanding company specializing in frac sand processing. Since 2019, we have established ourselves as a premier supplier of frac sand to oil & gas companies across the country. We are currently looking for the right people to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the loadout/scale operations and ensuring accurate weight measurements, and maintaining records for incoming and outgoing materials. You will operate computerized scales to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles. As a Scale House Operator, you will prepare and issue weight tickets for each load and logging the essential information such as vehicle type, order information, and driver details into our centralized database. Your contributions will play a vital role in supporting our logistics and operations team to ensure timely and efficient service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor loadout/scale equipment to accurately weigh trucks and materials while ensuring safe and efficient loading of frac sand onto transport vehicles entering and exiting our facility.

- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations during scale operations.

- Collaborate with truck drivers and dispatch personnel to facilitate smooth loading and unloading processes.

- Communicate effectively with management and operational staff regarding any discrepancies or issues with weights or records.

- Perform regular maintenance checks on scale equipment and report any malfunctions or required repairs.

- Monitor frac sand quality during the loading process and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.

- Conduct pre-load and post-load inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.

- Assist in inventory management by tracking product quantities and reporting any shortages or overages.

- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and clients by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Participate in training and safety meetings and uphold workplace safety standards to contribute to a culture of safety within our facility.

- Maintain a safe and organized working environment of the loadout area and scale house.

- Experience with CB/radio communication preferred.

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Previous experience in loadout/scale operations or similar is preferred.

- Proficient in using computer systems and software for record management.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures related to heavy equipment and industrial operations preferred.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating scale equipment.

- Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
