Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Arlington, TX is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position covering a maternity leave. This role is ideal for an experienced professional passionate about supporting students' communication development in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services for students within the K-12 range
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to track progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
- Deliver services primarily onsite with one day of work from home per week
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Experience working as a school-based SLP
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and effective therapeutic techniques
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize student needs effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
