As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Assist with controlling access to the healthcare facility, verifying identification, and monitoring entrances and exits.
• Work closely with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related incidents as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
