Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC construction. While this role will focus heavily on sheet metal projects, you will also oversee and coordinate other commercial construction projects within our portfolio. The ideal will be a strong leader with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple commercial HVAC sheet metal projects as well as other general contracting projects.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Develop, track, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Lead project meetings, provide progress updates, and resolve any project challenges.
Qualification:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial HVAC construction.
- Experience in managing diverse construction projects beyond HVAC.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communications skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
