Reports To: VP of Operations for Americas

Purpose of the Job

The Station Manager will lead team talent development, oversee financial performance, ensure service delivery, maintain client retention, drive new business growth, and uphold operational excellence, all with a client-centric approach.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all station-level activities related to:

  • Operations & Processes
  • People
  • Client Service
  • Talent Development
  • Culture

Demonstrate dynamic leadership, proactive decision-making, and results-driven management. Possess functional expertise in air/ocean logistics and supply chain management. Delegate tasks effectively to empower and develop staff, fostering a rewarding work environment and succession planning. Monitor new customer implementations to meet KPIs, seek cost efficiencies, and improve processes across functions. Stay informed about industry markets, trends, and challenges. Ensure a safe work environment compliant with regulations.

Oversee expansion and product/service development activities
  • Identify opportunities and risks impacting the business
  • Ensure effective, process-oriented customer service delivering consistent quality
  • Lead through change and support business growth initiatives
Qualifications and Characteristics
  • BA/BS preferred; minimum of 5 years supervising teams; at least 8 years in logistics/freight forwarding industry
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentations)
  • Proven leadership in driving KPIs, employee engagement, team building; capable of coaching and mentoring staff
  • Ability to independently develop station solutions
  • Knowledge of Cargo Wise or Silver Bullet systems preferred; EDI capabilities a plus
