• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12 Hour Night Shifts)\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
• Openings: 2 ICU RN positions\n
• Healthcare Setting: ICU, Step Down, Telemetry, Med-Surg\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois\n
• Current BLS (CPR), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience or acute care (Step Down, Telemetry, Med-Surg)\n
• Extensive cardiac care experience required\n
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills\n

\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams\n
• Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policies and nursing standards\n
• Accurately document patient care and progress in electronic health records\n
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans as directed by physicians\n
• Educate patients and families on care plans, health management, and recovery\n
• Participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance activities\n
• Provide clinical support and expertise to other hospital departments as needed\n
• Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately\n
