Job Description

Overview A large, global hardware and software company is looking for a UX researcher to help them understand peoples needs and inspire innovation. As a UX researcher, you will work closely with the Design, Marketing and other business units to reveal user needs, validate new concepts and improve the experience of existing solutions. You will be in charge to set up and lead primary research projects exploring consumer behavior and motivation for enterprise software platforms. Responsibilities Define the research objectives and formulates research proposals Conduct studies like usability testing, field research, surveys, diary studies Test and gather UX data in accordance with established research plans and specifications; analyze, describe, and report results to design stakeholders. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and give actionable recommendations Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners driving alignment and ensuring quality of process and deliverables. Contributes to design expertise by actively participating in various product discussion sessions with the product designers, engineers, developers, and other subject matter experts. Upfront market research - work with teams to research and validate new ideas as well as test the products after they are made Qualifications / Skills 3-7 years as a UX Researcher experience as Researcher for a software product experience doing formative, qualitative and quantitative research ability to work and communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand research goals and create research studies Some kind of documented research experience or work samples - ideally a Masters or PhD - Anthropology, Sociology, HCI, CogSci, Psychology Equal Opportunity We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
