The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Vehicle Technicians to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in West Yellowstone, Montana. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for keeping the fleet in working order by performing regular inspections and maintenance. What will you do?

• Perform complex diagnostics on all vehicle systems
• Determines, completes, and documents appropriate maintenance and repairs on all vehicle components
• Knowledge of other fleet repair programs
• Perform and document preventative maintenance procedures per vehicle specifications
• Conducts road/trail service calls for repair or rescue, diagnosing issues accurately and safely
• Drive motorized vehicles when necessary 

More about you

• 2 years’ experience in fleet maintenance of trucks, vans, cars, and service
• Knowledge of OEM parts and vehicle repair, with a background and knowledge of all aspects of fleet operations
• This position requires the employee to drive company vehicles; the successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver’s license and can pass a DOT physical
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently, prepare and maintain records, and follow instructions effectively
• ASE certification is preferred but not required
• Must have a valid state driver's license

• Bend, twist, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl
• Repeat the same movements
• Lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
• Perform heavy physical labor outdoors and pass a DOT physical
