Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser & Data Entry Specialist to join our Retail & Merchandising team. This hybrid role is responsible for executing compelling in-store and in-arena visual displays while maintaining accurate merchandise data, inventory records, and sales analytics. You will play a key role in delivering an engaging fan shopping experience while ensuring back-end operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising

• Design, plan, and implement seasonal and game-day visual merchandising strategies across team stores and kiosks.
• Ensure all product displays align with brand guidelines and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic standards across all retail spaces.
• Collaborate with marketing and game operations teams to align merchandise visuals with promotions, theme nights, and fan engagement events.
• Assist with window displays, signage, mannequins, and fixture arrangements.

Data Entry & Inventory Management

• Enter and maintain accurate product data in retail systems (e.g., SKU setup, descriptions, pricing).
• Track and update inventory counts and product movement using inventory management software (e.g., Shopify, Retail Pro, or similar).
• Generate regular reports on sales trends, stock levels, and merchandise performance.
• Assist with purchase order tracking and vendor communications.
• Support periodic physical inventory audits and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, or a related field.
• Strong eye for visual composition, color theory, and design.
• Proficiency in data entry and inventory software (Excel, POS/inventory platforms).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment including nights, weekends, and game days.
• Passion for sports, fashion, and fan culture is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in sports retail or working with a professional team is highly desirable.
• Portfolio of Visual merchandising skill set and familiarity with plannograms
• Basic understanding of retail analytics and consumer behavior.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) is a bonus.

Working Conditions

• On-site role with regular in-person presence required at arena and retail locations.
• Occasional lifting/moving of merchandise (up to 30 lbs).
• Flexibility to work NBA game nights, weekends, and special events.
