Skilled Material Handler needed in Blair, NE!

Shift:

Days: 7am-To Complete (12pm-5pm) Depending on Volume

Pay: $22/hr

Summary

As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are sorted, stored, and distributed efficiently and safely. This position is essential in maintaining the flow of materials needed for production and delivery. You will be responsible for the careful handling of various sizes and types of pallets, including loading them on trucks, placing them in designated storage locations, and preparing them for shipment. Attention to detail is critical in this role, as you will need to accurately track inventory and ensure that all materials are handled according to safety guidelines and company protocols. You will operate various types of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move heavy loads. Moreover, you will collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and support the overall goals of the warehouse. Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred

• Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
